How Bubbl Began: A Journey from Shared Experiences to Community Travel
Bubbl was born out of a desire to make travel more than just a solitary adventure; it was about creating meaningful connections. Our founder, Hayley, an avid traveler, a nomad of over two years, to 7 continents, a bucket list trip organizer for heliskiers, and organizer of ski cabin shares in Lake Tahoe, realized how much joy came from sharing these experiences with others. Over ten plus years of organizing these group trips, she saw the bonds formed between people who had once been strangers but quickly became lifelong friends owing to their shared experiences around their shared passions.
In fact, one summer, while enjoying being in another house share, our Founder met her husband. It happened in the kitchen at breakfast time on a leisurely Saturday. It was this serendipitous moment that solidified her belief in the power of community travel. Bubbl was created with the vision of making these kinds of connections accessible to everyone, no matter where they were or what kind of travel they were interested in.
Bubbl is more than just a travel platform. It’s about curating experiences that bring people together in a safe, smart, social, and affordable way. Whether it’s a weekend at the beach, a week in the mountains, or even a business trip, Bubbl helps connect like-minded travelers who are looking for more than just a place to stay. We believe that life is better when shared, and Bubbl makes that possible through group travel and through the responsible global community of travelers that we are building.
We started with a simple idea: Let’s create a platform that allows anyone to organize and join group trips easily. This could also mean sharing accommodation but it may not. Let’s provide a way for like minded people to find other like minded people and serendipitously connect through their passions. Bubbl provides the tools for the Bubbl Leader to find the right people, manage the trip logistics, and ensure everyone has an incredible experience. By focusing on community, Bubbl turns every trip into an opportunity to forge deeper connections, whether through shared passions, similar lifestyles, or just the joy of exploring a new place together.

Our Founder’s journey, from traveling solo around the world herself, to organizing bucket list heliski trips for her clients, to organizing ski cabins, to meeting her husband in a Bubbl, to building a platform that fosters community travel, is proof that sharing your travel experiences can change lives.
